Benjamin Johnson is a Senior Director at Jamestown Global Advisors. Prior to joining Jamestown Global Advisors, Benjamin spent more than a decade focusing on public-private partnerships and management in public service, the non-profit sector, and politics. He brings with him a solid background in government work, which contributes to his expertise in policy-making and government affairs.
Now, Benjamin leads a team and provides professional advisory services, helping clients navigate complex public affairs and geopolitical challenges. His experience in public service and the non-profit sector has provided him with a deep understanding of the workings of government and policy environments, enabling him to offer practical and effective solutions to clients. He bridges the gap between government and non-profit organizations, fostering cooperation to achieve common goals and interests.
Benjamin is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School (B.S. International Relations, Magna Cum Laude).

Before joining Jamestown Global Advisors, John worked as a senior political analyst at Tendencias Consultoria Integrada, a leading Brazilian economic consulting firm.
John holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego, and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. His educational background in political science has provided him with a solid foundation for analyzing and understanding the complexities of international relations and geopolitical dynamics.
