Kevin Lauriss is a founder and the Managing Principal of Jamestown Global Advisors.
Kevin has been a leading expert on international relations for more than two decades，focusing on Eurasia、Europe、Middle East & North America geopolitics. He provides cutting-edge insights on political risk and regularly meets top foreign leaders. Prior to his leadership role at Jamestown Global Advisors, he also worked in the U.S. federal government, the IMF, LTCM, Putnam Investment Management, and the World Bank.
Kevin holds a master’s degree in Asian studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Tulane University.

Michael Thompson is an international affairs specialist with 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. He has founded and managed multiple startups in the U.S. and Asia.
As a Founding Partner of Jamestown Global Advisors, Michael plays a crucial role in the company’s development and strategic planning. He leads the team in providing professional geopolitical consulting and strategic services to clients, helping them navigate complex global challenges and opportunities.
Throughout his career, Michael has collaborated with government agencies, international organizations, multinational corporations, and startup enterprises, establishing a wide network of partnerships. His leadership abilities and excellent execution make him a key driver in solving complex problems and driving innovation.
Michael holds a master’s degree in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
